Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer got married on August 21 at a private home in Malibu, California, USMagazine.com is reporting. Several other actors, including the couple’s ‘True Blood’ co-star Carrie Preston and her husband, Michael Emerson from ‘Lost,’ and Elijah Wood, Paquin’s co-star in the upcoming movie ‘The Romantics,’ were in attendance. The ceremony, which was held overlooking the ocean, comes after the couple announced they were dating in February 2009.

The 28-year-old Paquin and the 40-year-old Moyer met when they were cast on the hit HBO series, currently in its third season. She plays telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse, while he portrays vampire Bill Compton. In an interview with E! last summer, Moyer said he loves working with Paquin, “and that’s how it all stared, by falling in love on camera.”

Moyer proposed to Paquin last August on a beach in Hawaii. While he has two children from previous relationships, this is the first marriage for the Academy Award-winning actress.
