When Emma Stone appeared on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ last week, she discussed how she got matching tattoos on her wrist with her mother to celebrate that she survived breast cancer, Popeater.com is reporting. The star of the recent hit ‘Easy A’ also revealed that Paul McCartney provided a custom sketch, based on one of the Beatles’ hit songs.
Stone said that her mom, who was diagnosed two years ago, loves the song ‘Blackbird,’ and it’s her favorite song as well. “I wrote a letter to (Paul) McCartney asking him if he would draw two little bird feet, because he wrote the song. And…he sent them to me…He’s a good guy.”
US Weekly also reported that Stone first met McCartney when she and her ‘Zombieland’ co-star Woody Harrelson visited his British home while they were shooting the hit movie. The three ate veggie burgers, and Stone told Letterman that the experience was “awesome.”
