Brat pack star Anthony Michael Hall was arrested and has now been released from the custody of the LAPD after going on a tirade and disturbing the piece. The forty three year old apparently lost control and was throwing plants around the grounds of his Venice condominium complex this past Monday night causing his neighbor to become worried. When the resident was said to have opened the door to get a look at the commotion Hall became angry, swearing and yelling, as well as threatening to “beat him to a pulp.”

The former star of the Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles apparently returned a short time later to his neighbors door, telling the individual to come outside so that they can fight. Hall was picked up, arrested and booked with a misdemeanor charge (according to the L.A. Times) “that will likely be handled by the L.A. city attorney’s office.” The angry actor was released early Tuesday morning without comments from his reps regarding the performer’s melt down.

Since his days as a teenage heart throb in the 80′s, Anthony Michael Hall has since appeared in Stephen King’s Dead Zone, The Dark Knight, No Ordinary Family, with a current stint on the TV series Community, where he plays the role of Mike.
