ShockYa recently reported on the upcoming “Ferris Bueller” campaign being launched by Honda. The campaign, starring Matthew Broderick (of course), are going to launch during the Super Bowl, and everyone seems to be itching to see just how everyone’s favorite hooky-playing student has grown up and just why he’s selling Hondas. According to the ShockYa article by Perri Nemiroff, Jalopnik the campaign is being directed by “The Hangover” writer/director Todd Phillips, fitting for the Super Bowl. Do you want to have a chance to be on television? Comedian Pauly Shore might be able to make it happen for you. Shore has partnered with Youtoo TV, the new Social TV network that lets anyone be on national TV with just a few clicks. Whether you’re into the show or not, a behind the scenes look at AMC’s Hell on Wheels is particularly interesting. The show’s a contemporary Western about an ex-Confederate solider who winds up helping construct the Union Pacific Railroad’s first transcontinental railroad, so timely set pieces and costumes are abound. Executive producer and director David Von Ancken touches on one of the show’s prime assets, their ability to rent 15,000 acres and, as Von Ancken points out in the video, 15,000 is a ton of land. When “Titanic” was first released in the 1990s, it was a huge success– “Twilight” and “Harry Potter” levels of success. Most women were in love with Leonardo DiCaprio after this film and went to see the film three or even twelve times.
