We create ghosts for the sake of campfire stories and films all the time, but ever wonder if you could conjure up a real ghost? Oddly enough, paranormal experts purport that most ghostly happenings – strange noises, moving objects, etc. – are merely manifestations of the human mind and, in the early 1970s, the Toronto Society for Psychical Research put that concept to the test, assigning a group of people to contact a fictional ghostly entity via séances. Fast forward to the present, a time when we’re absolutely overrun with paranormal movies. Just as any and all novelty has seemingly dissipated, Kevin J. Foxe steps in to shake up the…

How about some more Walking Dead material to add to the collection? This bit is actually particularly awesome because it comes from David Strick, a photographer known for his stellar behind-the-scenes imagery. Recently he’s posted material from the set of New Girl, Weeds and Terra Nova, but if you’re itching for something on the gorier side, you’re in luck, because Strick got a chance to capture the Walking Dead team hard at work on the show’s Atlanta set. The 29-photo gallery’s got a little of everything from eerily up close looks at the zombies to shots of the show’s stars, Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Norman…

How many horror movies have you seen where the hot young college kids drive out into the middle of nowhere for some boozing, only to be stalked and ultimately hacked to death by hillbillies? Well, Eli Craig is here to turn the murderous hick stereotype on its head with the horror comedy Tucker & Dale vs Evil. Tucker and Dale (Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine) are redneck buddies hanging out in their ramshackle vacation house in the mountains. I can’t believe it, but this is officially it; my coverage of San Diego Comic Con 2011 has come to a close. For five incredibly long days, the experience went by in a flash. The action was non-stop from the moment I touched down in San Diego and while it was extremely exhausting and probably one of the most trying working experiences I’ve ever gone through, it was beyond worth it. So, what’d you think? Did you like my coverage choices? Were the formats I chose to report in effective? Do let me know because I’m thrilled to say, it looks as though I’ll be returning to Comic Con next…
