Naveen Andrews and Barbara Hershey have ended their 12-year romantic relationship, PEOPLE reported on May 30. The couple, who had a 21-year age difference (Andrews is 41, and Hershey is 62), decided to part ways six months ago, but remain friends, Andrews’ manager Renee Jennet said.
The two met in 1998 on the set of the independent movie ‘Drowning on Dry Land.’ While the movie didn’t receive much attention, the couple’s relationship did. They briefly separated in 2005, during which Andrews fathered a son with another woman. They worked things out shortly thereafter.
Andrews is known for starring in the recently ended hit ABC series ‘Lost’ for its entire six season run. Hershey received an Oscar nomination in 1996 for ‘The Portrait of a Lady.’ She is also known for starring in ‘Beaches’ and ‘Hannah and Her Sisters.’
