Susan Sarandon is generally known for her on-screen roles, but soon, she will be known for her on-stage role as she joins an illustrious cast of Sarah Tuft’s play “110 Stories”. Sarandon joins artists including James Gandolfini, Matt Dillon, Edie Falco, John Hawkes, Sam Shepard, Patricia Clarkson, Kathleen Turner, Angela Bassett, John Turturro, Andre Braugher, Josh Lucas, Michael Shannon, Stelio Savante, Michael Stuhlbarg, Aasif Mandvi, & Daniel Sunjata. The play brings together more than 30 personal stories about the Sept. 11 attacks on America. According to the press release, this play is the only non-political, non-sensationalized version of the accounts from people directly affected by 9/11.

Tuft, has weaved more than thirty personal stories recorded in the aftermath of September 11th. “110 Stories” is the “people’s 9/11″ and the only non-politicized, non-sensationalized version of the events, created from first-person accounts of those directly involved. 110 Stories was last performed at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles in 2010. It was produced by Stelio Savante, Andrew Carlberg and Beverly Holloway and directed by Marc Freiburger.
