After being found slumped on the floor of his London home, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was rushed to a hospital on June 28, 2011, E!Online is reporting. The ‘Tudors’ star, who has battled alcohol problems in the past, reportedly took several pills. However, it hasn’t been officially called a suicide attempt by doctors, even though his family and friends are questing if he tried to take his own life.

Paramedics responded to an emergency call from Meyers’ home, but he refused treatment for over 30 minutes. Police were eventually called in to escort the 33-year-old actor to the hospital. Meyers was released from the hospital the day after his admittance. He didn’t comment when the U.K. newspaper The Sun inquired about his health.

The hospitalization comes after Meyers was arrested after his second rehab stint in 2007 for public drunkenness and breach of peace. He threatened and was abusive towards airport workers when he was waiting for a flight from Dublin to London. However, the charges were eventually dropped.

In 2009, Meyers had airport trouble again, when he allegedly punched a waiter at a bar in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport. He was subsequently charged with “willful violence, outrage, hitting and threatening death.”

Meyers then entered rehab in London again in 2010 for an alcohol addiction. He was banned from flying United Airlines after a drunken fight at New York’s JFK airport.
