‘Haunting Melissa,’ a new horror story that reinvents storytelling to engage audiences, has officially launched its new app exclusively on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch at the App Store. Anchor Bay Films has partnered with CineTel Films once again to release the next chapter in the controversial ‘I Spit on Your Grave’ film franchise. ‘I Spit on Your Grave 2.’ the follow-up to 2010′s crime-horror-thriller remake ‘I Spit on Your Grave,’ wrapped production late last year. Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in the upcoming supernatural horror thriller ‘Hotel 33,’ Foresight Unlimited CEO Mark Damon and Emmett/Furla Films’ Randall Emmett announced yesterday. ‘Dear Mr. Gacy’ scribe Kellie Madison wrote the script for the new horror film, and will make her feature film directorial debut with ‘Hotel 33.’ Production is slated to begin in September. ‘Hotel 33′ is based on the presumed events surrounding the disappearance of 32 people on the opening night of the Grand Hotel in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 1953.
