The Omen 1976

Lifetime and horror aren’t really synonymous with each other–unless you count the many “abused woman on the run” films the channel used to show. Even still, the network has been known as “television for women,” with their programming gearing towards light romances. However, women love horror too, and since Lifetime has been expanding their portfolio in many different ways, including with unauthorized and/or scandalous biopics, such as “Liz and Dick” and “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” the network probably decided it was time to branch out into other areas. Hence their decision to revisit “The Omen.” Lifetime has ordered six episodes of “Damien,” a sequel-of-sorts to “The Omen.”  [ Read More ]

The-Walking-Dead-Bob-Daryl-Michonne

Daryl is one of the most popular characters on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Also, fans have gotten into huge arguments about whether Daryl has a thing for Michonne or if he’s actually in love with Beth. But it could be very possible that everyone’s wrong. A new theory has revealed that Daryl is possibly gay. The official premiere date of the Breaking Bad spin off Better Call Saul has been bumped to February 2015. Originally it was announced that the series would make its debut in November 2014, but a recent teaser trailer for the series starring Bob Odenkirk as the hilarious sleaze ball attorney Saul Goodman says otherwise. The 11-second teaser (yes, just 11 seconds!) brings Saul back to the small screen as he declares that it’s always important to have a lawyer on your side. The clip doesn’t show much else, but seeing Odenkirk as Saul again is enough to make BB fans happy. Michael McKean, Michael Mando, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks, and  [ Read More ]

Downton Abbey Cast

“Downton Abbey,” one of PBS Masterpiece’s most popular shows, is gearing up its promotion for another season. The last two seasons have been particularly tough on “Downton” fans–Lady Mary’s (Michelle Dockery) husband Matthew (Dan Stevens) and Lady Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay) both died in very traumatic ways. The latest season involved Mary moving on without Matthew and learning how to manage the estate or, at least manage it as much as she can, considering her slightly misogynistic father, Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville),thinks she can’t. The promotional images are below in the gallery. I think fans will like what the images tease for the next season; seems like Lady Grantham (Elizabeth  [ Read More ]
