Leslie Birkland, one of the stars of Style Network’s hit reality show ‘Big Rich Texas,’ is engaged to her boyfriend, Rip Mason, she confirmed to Celebuzz. Mason proposed to the beauty pageant coach on Wednesday morning in Beverly Hills. The couple’s relationship has been chronicled on the docu-drama since its first season.
Birkland “is truly overjoyed with her engagement and excited about their future together. While faced with incredible obstacles this season, Rip remained supportive and completely devoted,” Dominic Friesen, a spokesperson for Birkland, revealed in a statement.
The couple has already begun planning for their wedding day. Birkland and Mason will exchange vows in June at the Four Season Hotel on Maui, Friesen said. The two will continue to maintain residences in both Dallas and Southern California after their wedding.
Currently in its third season, ‘Big Rich Texas’ chronicles the glamorous lives of five Dallas women and their privileged daughters. Birkland joined the cast of the show, which first aired in July of 2011, after competing in various beauty pageants since 1992. The show is currently airing its third season on Style Network.
